Recreation and Leisure
These are very accessible in Arvada. Recreational services are provided in numerous ways. There are public parks, within and throughout the Greater Denver area including Arvada. As previously mentioned, many of the developed intentional middle class communities also have built in parks and services. They are effectively semi-private as you have to belong to the community to join, but everyone in the community is welcome to do so at their own discretion.
Here’s an off-the-top list: hiking trails, bicycling, boating, numerous clubs, tennis, racquetball, swimming. There are also ice skating rinks. You can join any number of clubs, use only the open parks and trails, or mix and match. Of course there are also facilities designed to serve certain age groups and segments of the population.
